While traditional academia is seen as the best path to take to get a proper art education, art school at a university or college may be unattainable for some who cannot afford the pricey tuition or cannot handle the rigid schedule, especially if you are balancing a career or other life responsibilities.

As someone who loves to take the alternative road to find success in learning, I have compiled a list of online resources where you can learn about art, design, entrepreneurship, and other classes to help you level up as an artist.

Canva Courses - Learn how to design with Canva. Thousands of tutorials on how to design like a pro, explore typography, design trends, color, and more.

Daisie - Daisie brings creators together in classes hosted by industry-leading experts. Live classes every day across film, music, fashion, photography, and more.

Skillshare - Skillshare is an online learning community based in the United States for people who want to learn from educational videos.

Art Prof - Learning art is most effective when it’s fun and flexible! That’s why we have designed diverse learning formats to accommodate people of all ages and backgrounds.
